Built by a father and his son, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Guardian Sarah is family-owned. There are two of us, no investors, and no support department — when you write to this company, you get one of the people who built it.
Why we built it
One of us spent a working life around older adults — helping them, caring for them, keeping them company. He is near seventy himself, which is its own kind of qualification. Two things bothered him for years, and neither is complicated.
How much of the day is silent. Not a crisis. Just hours with nobody to say anything to — the most ordinary problem there is, and almost nothing sold to older adults touches it.
How little families are told. Sons and daughters who wanted to know how their mother's day had gone had no way to find out except ringing and asking, which turns the one call of the day into an interrogation. The information existed. It never travelled.
Guardian Sarah is those two things and nothing else: somebody to talk to, and a few honest sentences afterwards for the people who love them.
The other half of the company has worked in the social work field for more than seven years. Neither of us is a doctor, a nurse, or a licensed clinician. We say so here because it would be easy not to.
Why we tell you what she cannot do
Most of this website is spent saying what Sarah is not. Not a medical device. Not a safety service. She cannot detect a fall and cannot summon help. She is an AI voice, and she says so out loud on the first call and any time she is asked.
That is not lawyers being careful. Every one of those sentences is a promise somebody else in this category is making and cannot keep. If we sold you a safety net that does not exist, you would find out on the worst day of your life. We would rather lose the sale.
There is no countdown on this site, no offer that expires, and no price that goes up tomorrow. There never will be. Pressure aimed at an eighty-year-old is the shape every elder-fraud statute describes, and we are not going to borrow its tone.
How to reach us
Write to support@guardiansarah.com and one of the two of us answers, usually within a business day. Ask what it costs, ask what she cannot do, or ask how to stop it. It is not an emergency line and nobody is watching it around the clock — in an emergency call 911, and in a crisis, call or text 988.

If you are setting this up for a parent, the family page explains what you will and will not be able to see. If you want to know how we handle what Sarah hears, that is on privacy and your data.
